Solved! thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
My theme had a image preload setting.
Kudos for the plugin BTW 🙂
I added this css: .image-preloader{
visibility: hidden !important;
}
the images are visible if I use this, but I would like a proper resolve
I tried on safari and chrome, same issue, also in private
I am using Regenerate thumbnails Plugin, i’ve tried deactivating it and still no joy.
