Okay, I was going to create my own thread but as I say having read this thread and many other sites where the same issue was happening I thought I would not repeat the post. In the meantime I will monitor this thread and try any suggestions that are offered, and if none work then I will create my own thread. Thanks

I don’t know what the protocol is for tagging onto threads, but I too am having the exact same problems you are with regards to setup of your WordPress installation folder (WordPress Address (URL)) being a subfolder, and the domain (Site Address (URL)) being different. I have tried on many browsers and devices, both with plugins enabled and disabled (by renaming the plugins folder that is within wp-content folder), cleared the cache and run in private/incognito modes and nothing has worked. I have just added www into the respective strings on the General Settings page within WordPress and it still logs me out when the page refreshes.

If you manage to find a solution I would be most grateful too as I am starting to go a little crazy.
