The database does not have the same name, no, because the prefix was already different on the new server. I’ll try to feel my way through this stuff… I’m a server/DB n00b.
I was also receiving this error, but mine was not after a WP update. I haven’t touched my blog in a month. I’ve since reuploaded all the latest WP files and now I get no error, but no page loads. The loading icon just spins for a minute or so and finally stops.
I’m baffled and thoroughly frustrated since I haven’t touched anything.
