    I’ve installed the new version and everything seems to work fine.

    Funny thing is that the header and footer continue to appear eevn tough the canvas was supposed to not show them. But that problem has nothing to do with smart slider.

    Hi!

    Following Ramona’s suggestions I’ve managed to fix the problem. I was using a page model from Elementor called “Elementor canvas” that removes the default header and footer. It is probable that in the most recent update from them, wp_header and wp_footer were removed from the code thus making Smart Slider 3 incapable of working. I solved the issue by switching the page model to the WordPress default and then hiding the header and footer via CSS. That way the functions still get called and I get to keep the intended design to the pages.
