@rajttn – Sorry to hear that. Any particular parts you were struggling with? The only part we’ve ever had trouble with not being immediately intuitive from support queries has been the targeting system with AND/OR, or adding click triggers to random elements on sites which confuse users regularly. We have a new version worked out, just takes a lot of work to implement it while keeping full backward compatibility with dozens of plugins/themes other than our own.
Totally open to real feedback though so if you wanna dump it on me, I’ll do my best in upcoming updates. I love good UX, but that is defined differently depending on user type & even personal preference. I know the plugin’s UI/UX needs updating for sure, already moving to full react with the recent addition of Call to actions. Popups are on track to get the same treatment this year, so nows the perfect time to get your 2 cents in.
@cmpn – Can you clarify with page builder your using as well?
@shayt – You might look at WP Fusion in the future as well, it syncs tags with your CRM and offers targeting in Popup Maker for them directly. Sounds like kinda what you were trying to accomplish.
Glad you got it worked out.
@destroy666 – Great idea. We are actually gathering feedback exactly like this for our upcoming rebuild of the entire popup system fixing all the gaps that have come up in the past 7 years or so since we last revamped it.
@trunglun0112 – Thanks for the kind words.
@shayt – Glad to hear. Would love to know what you had to tweak. Uncanny has their own integrations with our plugin, we don’t control those on our end in this case.
@ascottme – Sorry that you were confused, but I just reviewed and it is mentioned exactly twice in the plugin description, both times explicitly declared premium only. Can you point us to where you saw this?
Otherwise I kindly request you update your review as we have never declared such, it has been a premium feature since v1.0.0 over 10+ years ago.

@mad2ko0l – Patch today should resolve this officially. We no longer store the data in transients.
@mad2ko0l – We are looking into this for you. Our next major update already is working to revamp the entire google font system, but we will look for a quick patch in the mean time.
@erwin1974 – Awesome, in v1.22 you will be able to use google fonts and they will automatically store locally.
Take care.
@erwin1974 – Thanks for the report, think we got a solid plan for the next minor update (1.22). We are still ironing out kinks from 1.21, but here is a rough recap of what we’re planning. Pretty solid long term solution.

In the mean time, simply disabling/deleting the popup themes using those fonts, or updating them to use system fonts will fix it for you as well. We suggest deleting any your not using or at least marking them draft which prevents their css from being added to the file.
Hope that helps.
@torndownunits – This sounds like a new/separate issue. The OP above reported rendering issues on frontend pages. Your describing errors in the editor it sounds like?
Probably should start a new ticket if so.
Can you confirm if this only effects popups or all editors? No frontend issues?
To my knowledge you can’t directly edit private post types in Elementor so I assume you mean all editors?
I haven’t seen any other reports, with over 200k downloads of these versions so this may be a limited issue in some way which is something to consider in your testing.
@prachi2patel – I’m not sure what you referring to here.
This is unrelated to our Popup Maker plugin, we don’t have any links like that in the plugin and in general we don’t render links on your site, so anything like that in your popups is coming from either your own inserted content, or your site in general has been compromised (unrelated to our plugin) and they are adding links to anything in the wp_posts table.
Hope that helps.
@stephenm – 99.999% of the time this is a caching issue. Simply put your site uses page caching, updating your popups requires purging the page caches or they still get the old version until it expires.
Hope that helps.
@wendymerritt – Thanks for taking time to leave feedback. Understandable given the experience.
We have seen a handful of these reports now where files that are clearly included in the release we pushed to ww.wp.xz.cn were missing when it updated on some sites and caused errors.
We’ve triple checked and they all do in fact exists so we aren’t sure what caused it. In all honesty had this error been in the code base on our end, there would have been 100k+ broken sites all complaining in the forums which is further evidence it was a weird fluke out of our control.
That said we’ve always been opponents for auto-updates, and this is exactly why. My main suspicion is this was a failed auto-update, somehow the plugin failed to fully install for whatever reason.
In any case, appreciate the kind words given the situation.
