I have a similar problem, even with the Pro version – when I copy content to another language (via plus), it doesn’t copy the ACF fields and causes problems.
More informations:
– when I use version 3.6.7, everything works without problems
– CPT is registered via PHP (register_post_type)
– using ACF fields (ACF Pro)
– in Polylang settings is selected CPT
