on that note… in the docs ( http://polylang.wordpress.com/documentation/setting-up-a-wordpress-multilingual-site-with-polylang/strings-translation/ ) it states “Your theme or your plugins can register the strings to translate in two ways.” but then neglects to tell you what those two ways actually are… only to continue with:
“When registered in the native way (or with a wpml-config.xml file), the strings are automatically removed from the table when the plugin or the theme is deactivated.”
Soo… how is it that one registers strings ‘in the native way’ or ‘with a wpml-config’ file? And are those the two ways the documentation is talking about…?
I’m getting the same error trying to activate YARPP, different amount of characters though…
The plugin generated 876 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin
