I have what appears to be the same issue. After upgrade attempt I am able to access the administration pages and everything appears to be there, but when I click “visit site” I get the following:
Fatal error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘./wp-blog-header.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php’) in /homepages/35/d236091845/htdocs/actforamerica92253.org/index.php on line 17
I am unable to understand what this fatal error message is saying or what I can do about it. And the solution I find on this forum does not work for me.
I am using Fetch as my FTP. Apparently I have messed up the file in Fetch that would enable me to open the web site. Since I have tried so many options, I’m not certain what is where. Should I create a new Fetch folder and put my backup WordPress file in that and try to work from that?
One forum writer instructs to:
“Make sure that the file wp-blog-header.php is present in “htrchurch” folder.”
I don’t know how to do this.
