Thanks so much for the quick update! Much appreciated – all fully working with coupons now.

Struggling to get hold of you – your website link just goes to another site that I don’t think is yours.

Can you let me know about converting the coupons so that they keep the same value no matter what currency the user pays in.

    Thanks

I think they have great customer service (apart from not being able to help much with this!) and the site is pretty quick normally.

They are still claiming it’s a plugin issue though… I’ve just had to repair my options table again this evening and it’s been going on for too long now. What is the fail safe they’ve set up?

What theme and plugins are you using – maybe if there’s a few that match we might figure out which one is causing it to happen and try and find an alternative? (If indeed that is the problem!!)

My theme is Catalyst and my plugins are:
    Akismet
    BWP Google XML Sitemaps
    Clean Options
    CommentLuv Premium
    Facebook Tab Manager
    Fast Secure Contact Form
    MailChimp
    Nivo Slider WordPress Plugin
    Permalink Editor
    Subscribe to Comments Reloaded
    WP-DBManager
    WP-Mail-SMTP
    WP Video Lightbox

I’ve been having this exact same issue… my host is unlimitedwebhosting.co.uk – not sure if you are using the same?

To date, I haven’t found anyone else with this issue…

They keep telling me it’s a plugin issue and I’ve tried disabling them to see if it improves… but it’s so hard to tell because the downtime is sporadic and sometimes doesn’t happen for a few days! Then it comes every few hours… I can’t go leaving all my plugins off for a few weeks to make sure it’s definitely a plugin issue as I need to eat and pay the bills!

Have you made any progress with this?

I’m not sure whether this is possible, but once the data is posted to the autoresponder API, there’s a success (or otherwise) code returned. Is it possible to have a message displayed to the user to say that their request has been processed or an error if that’s what comes back?

    Thanks,

    Dan

I’m not sure what was happening to be honest. It kept flicking between the pages I’d set up for the reveal and another page which I used to use on that facebook app…

I’ve now re-edited the original page and used the facebook shortcodes and everything is working fine.

It depends on the host… for my old host, the file would just blank out – even though there was a size reported. For my new host, it seems to break the file – getting 500 internal server errors – but the file is readable, however the supercache bit is missing. The size of the file is the same as it was before…

At the moment, I’m quite happy just with having the file set to 444 – I have a backup copy ready to overwrite if something happens, but it seems fine this way. Not really wanting to test it again – although I have an hourly server monitor running, if I’m asleep, the site is down all night!

I’m pretty sure it’ll be some kind of conflict with one of the other plugins I run, but it’s hard to know which one it would be and I have a workaround which is pretty straight forward!

The good news is that yours is the only cache plugin that makes any difference to my installation – and it’s really positive.

Thanks! That solved it! I’d been emailing it from one computer to another!!

Thanks for your input Donncha. I’m pretty sure that it’s generating the correct rules for the advanced options, it’s just not showing me which ones are selected on the screen – except for the top one!

I did think it was to do with cloudflare as it’s thrown a couple of errors when I’ve disabled your plugin, but it’s still doing it now I’ve sorted out that!

Otherwise, all working nicely though from what I can tell. It’s taken about 66% off my page load times compared to w3 total cache.

Ok, so it’s taken a little time, but the problem is with CloudFlare’s Rocket Loader which asynchronously loads javascript – it appears that it interferes with the correct loading of the redirect script in your plugin. It’s in beta at the moment, so I’ve disabled it and all is well!

    Thanks for your time.

Thanks for the speedy response Mike! I’ll check it out – I don’t think it’s the theme, I use catalyst theme and no-one else on their forums has had an issue like this, but I’ll double check!

My host doesn’t allow 666 or 777 – try setting to 755 and see if that helps.

    Ok, so update from them…

Had to add the following to end of htaccess as well as the php5.ini additions…

    RLimitMem 128000000

    Now all working!

Anyone else with heart internet who is experiencing this memory usage limit exceeded – you have to add a line to php5.ini (or php.ini) as well as the one above in htaccess.

Thanks for all your help with this songdogtech.

This is really weird. Is there any sure fire way to check on the allowed memory limit? I’ve changed the limit in php5.ini and it’s all reporting fine in phpinfo. If it’s reporting false information, how do we find out??

    Thanks again.
