Vimeo supports few statuses with different meaning:

You can use any of those to upload the videos through our plugin. If you want your videos to be publicly shareable through link but hidden from searches then Unlisted is the best option.

This is a great idea, especially for content added through external systems that bypass WordPress hooks (like direct database imports or other integrations). I’m looking into implementing an “index missing only” option, though it will require some careful planning around tracking what’s already indexed without bloating the database. I know we will need another database table to track whether a post is indexed to specific index, if it’s not then we index, we skip all others that are indexed. May be good idea to make this per-index optional where you can opt-in which index is tracked and if it’s tracked this feature “Index only missing entries” becomes available.

As of v1.2.2 – we added option to Views and Search areas where you can select the default sort order.
