In reply to: [Edit Flow] No selectors and buttons on topJust noting that the screenshot isn’t available to Gary or I because we’re in the UK, and Imgur is blocked. I’ve accessed it with a VPN and uploaded it elsewhere…

In reply to: [Edit Flow] Upgrading to 0.10.0 Breaks funtionality for editor roleHi everyone.
Thanks for starting this thread off, as we weren’t aware of this issue. We’ll be taking a look at it today (although there’s no timeline for anything right now) and will keep you up-to-date with the investigation.
For now, the workaround is to roll back to the previous release of the plugin.

In reply to: [No Self Ping] Bug Fix: Additional URLs feature broken (inverted logic)Hi Bjorn,
Apologies for not responding earlier and thank you, very much, for the detailed solution.
I’ll take a look at this soon. Meantime, I’ll add it to the Github repo to ensure I don’t forget about it!
Thank you! I can confirm that your workaround has worked for me.
Thank you. I appreciate your flexibility.
Rather than a video, a series of screenshots will probably work best here.
Let’s start with what I’m seeing when your plugin is ACTIVE…
Here’s the settings screen for the admin – https://cldup.com/HLGUcP67pI.png (just to show that I have the admin option turned OFF)
This is what the editor screen looks like: https://cldup.com/GWDrQOl5N3.png
And this is what the media library model looks like: https://cldup.com/w7yE9H7MFM.png. It doesn’t quite capture the majesty of those spinners in the background all being animated. They could give someone seizures.
Now, if I disable your plugin this is what both of those screens look like (and, to be clear, I’ve done nothing other than disable your plugin)…

Those both reflect would I believe they SHOULD look like with your plugin installed but the admin section turned OFF.
If it helps you diagnose, looking at the page source for the post editor I still see all your scripts present, including the CSS – I’d not expect to see them if I’d turned this off. Is off really off?
No thank you. I don’t wish to sign up to a third party site to have my issue answered. Until recently you were happy to answer them in these support forums, so I would appreciate it if you could continue to do so.
Could you give me a little more detail as to how I can be served “more efficiently” through your site? Any solutions you give to me here will be viewable by anyone else, without need of an account. I know the admins here have strict rules on preventing account data being shared, etc., so this and the openness adds a level of security for me as well.Thank you, in advance.

In reply to: [Co-Authors Plus] Co-authors errorCan you report this here?
Hi,
Similar to how you did with Yoast, can you raise this in our Github issues, please, as that’s where we’re currently working from?
Thank you!

In reply to: [Co-Authors Plus] Remove ‘cap-‘ from slug/urlHi.
I’ve just installed a fresh version of CAP onto a test site and the guest authors don’t have such as a prefix. Can you confirm where you’re seeing this?

Yes, it is – most conversation is going on in our Github repo at https://github.com/Automattic/Edit-Flow

In reply to: [Co-Authors Plus] Last WordPress version testedI’ve also noticed that you’re using an older version of the plugin – I can only comment on the current release.
The README notes in Github show it’s been tested on WordPress between 5.9 and 6.6 and requires PHP 7.4 onwards.
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Co-Authors Plus] Last WordPress version testedAs 6.6.2 is the latest version we’ve tested it on, then there are no guarantees of it working on any release above this. Also, there’s no recording of the maximum version of PHP it’s been tested on.
I would recommend trying the plugin on a test environment first, to make sure it works as expected.
I’ll ask the developers to provide any updates to test versions when they next make a change.

In reply to: [Co-Authors Plus] PHP ErrorThanks for reporting this Bruno. I’ve now logged the details of this on our list of issues on Github: https://github.com/Automattic/Co-Authors-Plus/issues/1094
As per the pinned note in this forum, there’s no guarantees when we’ll get around to this, but the issue will now be in front of the developers.

In reply to: [Co-Authors Plus] PHP ErrorHi Bruno,
