Many thanks for the quick response. I figured it was a plugin conflict and discovered it was a conflict with WP Media Folder Gallery Addon, which is an extra that comes with WP Media Folder by JoomUnited. I need that plugin so it will stay activated. Sorry I won’t be using yours, but I found an alternative plugin to get river flows on my site.
To answer your other questions, I have the latest version of WordPress (4.9.8), PHP version 7.2.7 and I’m running WordPress on an Apache server on my local computer while the site is in development.

That fixed it! Mod_rewrite was on, but I found one instance where AllowOverride was set to None. I changed it to All and everything works fine. Many thanks.
