You are correct, I just checked and both links point to the same URL. However, I did end up with two versions:

woocommerce-paypal-payments-3.0.0-polyfill.zipNo worries though… obviously the file was replaced at some point with the latter one.

Github sent me this plugin version and it fixed the error message. They said that your version would also work, but they recommended this one because it includes the proposed fix that will be included in the next update in the coming week. @melanieep, yes it is just a revised plugin that will overwrite the original one.

I have had the same issue for months. The notice goes away after clicking “Maybe later” and then reappears after clearing the cache and also after navigating to another page. I will contact support per above.

The image title is already the same as the alt text. Both of them are “Battery Connectors”, but the tooltip is not displayed when hovering over the image. I even added it as the caption, but that does not display either. Ideas?

Although the alt text is in the code, it is not visually displayed on the screen. Why not? I just went to Amazon and hovered my cursor over a linked product image… the cursor changed to a hand, and in addition, the alt text for that image was visually displayed on the screen. Why isn’t alt text visually displayed for featured images in WooCommerce?

For now, let’s ignore what Google is saying. My concern right now is on the fact that alt text is not being displayed for featured images. I have already specified alt text for every image on my website. The alt text is displayed on mouseover for every image on my site EXCEPT for featured images. That should be fixed.

I understand, thanks for your reply. However, regardless of whether or not website optimization is involved, alt text display for an image is a basic design practice for websites. The alt text display problem only involves the featured product images at the top of the page. Since the featured product image is part of WooCommerce, and since all other images on my site do display the alt text, that indicates that the issue is related to WooCommerce. So on that basis, please investigate further.

I disabled rocket loader and that fixed the errors. But unfortunately my PageSpeed score dropped from 99 down to 75, so I guess I will just live with the errors for now. Thanks for your help.
