I found the cache clear button as per your instructions and it now works.

In reply to: [Zotpress] ZotPress auto-update to 7.3.13 breaks existing pages@kseaborn I’m not 100% sure I sufficiently understand the clearing of caches. I hit the CDN Cache | Purge Everything option and it did stuff, but didn’t fix the problem.
I also deactivated every plugin but ZotPress and once again no luck. I know it had deactivated plugins because it was clear from the loaded page that they were inactive.

I checked the quotes I have in the WP editor and it is the second of your two examples. I’d say cutting and pasting them to here is responsible for that change.
A more telling point is that I have posts going back several years that have now stopped working since the update. I’m using Edge as a browser, but get the same result on my Android phone.
