In reply to: [Media Cleaner: Clean your WordPress!] AUTO RETRY not helpingOK I’ve been experimenting with Advanced Settings and for my situation, lowering the Analysis Buffer value is the key. I initially tried 5 and am now up to 20 and finally got a scan all the way to 100%! Not getting timeouts anymore but having to click “Retry” many times on “The reply sent by the server is broken” errors, so I’m going to continue to bump up the Analysis Buffer further to hopefully speed up the analysis with fewer errors. Hopefully this helps someone else in a similar situation. BTW I’m on a shared server hosted on HostGator.
I’d like to add my support for this request. My site has 1000s of images and I’ve been clicking on the “AUTO RETRY” for 2 days now, on “Cookie check failed” errors. At some point should I just click “Skip” or “ALWAYS SKIP”, or do I need to continue clicking “AUTO RETRY”? Also, I can’t find a log file anywhere, even though I’ve checked the “Logs – Enable” checkbox.

I should’ve mentioned that I already have debugging turned off, and these deprecation warnings show up on my public-facing website in addition to the admin area, even when logged out of WordPress. I see many other deprecation warnings from other plugins in my error_log file, but only yours show up there for some reason. Anyway, I really enjoy your plugin so I’m sticking with PHP 8.1 for now, and eagerly awaiting your update so I can upgrade my PHP to 8.2 or 8.3.
