Many thanks Jordy, and apologies for the delay getting back to you. It has been a busy week. I will contact you directly for the update. All the best – David
Thanks for the prompt response Jordy. I uploaded a jpg called uranium-sample as a test and then processed it using Shortpixel. This compressed the jpgs and created a series of webp files. I then changed the image name to silver-uranium-sample by changing the image title in WordPress. After checking the uploads folder using my SFTP, the name of the jpgs have changed to silver-uranium-sample, however, the webp files have the name uranium-sample.

In reply to: Restrict Access to Uploads to Certain DomainsHi Shru – Unfortunately I still haven’t resolved this one yet, mainly because it wasn’t critical and I have been working on other things. If I find a solution I will post it here. If you find one, would you mind posting it too?

In reply to: Restrict Access to Uploads to Certain DomainsHi Kartik,
Thanks for the message, however, I don’t think that answers the question. Currently, if I upload a file to one site, it is accessible to all sites. For example, if I upload the file logo.jpg on my second site it is accessible at all the following addresses:
https://domain-for-first-site.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/logo.jpg
https://domain-for-second-site.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/logo.jpg
https://domain-for-third-site.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/logo.jpg
https://domain-for-fourth-site.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/logo.jpgIf I upload a file to one site, I would like it to be accessible to only that site, and all other sites to return a 404 or similar error.
By changing the upload path, would this mean access to files uploaded would be restricted to only the domain they were uploaded on?
Many thanks,
David
