In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Images disappearing againI see the image is restored. The last time this happened I had to deactivate Jetpack to restore the images. I’ll keep an eye out and let you know if it happens again.

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Images disappearingSince reactivating Jetpack I’ve not been able to find a missing image, so I’m going to call this issue resolved. If it happens again I’ll start a new thread and include a link to the effected page. Thanks for your help.

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Images disappearingThe problem is intermittent, and effects images that have been previously published, in some cases over a year ago. Would it help if I reactivated Jetpack, found a page with a missing image, and sent you a link?

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Images disappearing- Yes, that’s the plugin.
- I have several plugins installed and running. The only one I deactivated was Jetpack. That fixed the problem. When I reactivated Jetpack the problem came back. There is one detail I omitted. When I go into WordPress and edit in Toocheke I can see the missing image. It’s only when I visit my website that the images disappear.
- I use the default theme.
- Hmmm, there isn’t a step by step method of reproducing the problem. Toocheke is a webcomic plugin. It allows you to import images from the WordPress media library and format them as webcomics. It also allows you to organize comics in collections, chapters, series, etc. I was looking at some older comics when I noticed the missing images. I can tell you that before I knew to disable Jetpack I fixed the problem by deleting the image from the comic and re-inserting it from the media library.
Hope this helps.
