In reply to: [Broken Link Checker] Is is multisite compatible?@susan639 Don’t network active, just activate for each site.
Never heard of deconf.com and don’t really care.
When anyone has an issue with YOUR plugin, most would go right to YOUR plugin page to see what’s up, and if they don’t see a sticky post or a warning on the description page, they start asking questions.
Plus, most would think it’s something to do with your plugin.
If you had a warning message and a link to what the ordeal was all about on your description page or as a sticky post, maybe you would get less people asking questions on the support thread.
Anyways, I see you made someone’s post on the subject sticky…good boy.
Something of this importance needs to be plastered on the Description Page and highlighted sticky at the top of this Support Page!!

In reply to: [WordPress MU Domain Mapping] Subsite Functions Effected When MappedI see. The theme works fine when not being mapped, but when using your domain mapping plugin and mapping a domain to it, certain functions of the theme stop working, so I thought it might be an issue with your plugin conflicting with the theme somehow.
FYI, all plugins are deactivated and I’m also running the theme and plugin on a test network and it’s still doing the same thing.
Thanks for the tip, but I don’t know if a theme vendor would even care about a plugin causing their theme to malfunction. They would say, “Don’t use the plugin”

In reply to: [Adminimize] Not Hiding – Not Saving SettingsI went with another solution that has fine grain control for each subsite. Adminimize just wasn’t cutting it.

In reply to: [CoursePress Learning Management System] Mulitiple Courses for Teachers? Thanks for that bit of info. Can the teachers charge for their classes? Is everything done on the front end?
I want anyone that wants to be a teacher, to be able to create an account on the site, then have their own front end account to create and manage their courses.
I would like them to pay me a commission for each course taken. Or charge for a membership to be able to be a teacher
Thanks

In reply to: [Adminimize] Not Hiding – Not Saving SettingsI have the plugin network activated. On the main site, I have it set to Active for the Super Admin so it doesn’t block me.
When I set the settings for the main blog and Save, everything works fine when I log in as Site Admin.
But when I go and set the settings for the second blog, the main blog settings change. Some of the elements I chose earlier to hide are now showing.
It seems that when I go from blog to blog to set the settings, it should show me the current settings and not make me Update Options to see what is set for that blog.
I think that is why it’s messing up the settings from previously set blogs. Might be doing it wrong too. Who knows.

In reply to: [Admin Menu Editor] Menus Showing for Super Addy?Got it and it works like a champ. Thanks a ton!

In reply to: [Admin Menu Editor] Menus Showing for Super Addy?I’m wondering if I did it right. I installed the plugin and network activated it. I don’t see a settings menu on the network admin menu. I do see the settings menu on the main site of the network, but it only shows the menu editor and not the plugin settings.
Also, when I set the menu the way I want it, there are a few menu items that are not showing up in the list hence still showing up on siteadmin role.
So how can I hide these few menu items and where are the plugin settings at?
Thanks

In reply to: [Admin Menu Editor] Menus Showing for Super Addy?Got it! Whew! Sometimes I wonder why I am so dense. I saw that Hide/Show button and thought that was what I needed to do, but now I see the ‘required capabilty’ setting for the Super Addy.
Thanks!
