Yes that was it.
I don’t have any clue why Jevelin template deregisters it but after I removed this code than Braintree plugin was working as expected.

I disabled all the default product pages. If you follow provided link than it should lead you directly to the custom product page. You may choose the variation from select box under the price label “From 32e”on to top of the page. It will reveal “add to cart” button. If you click it than you will be redirected directly to the cart.
I will try to investigate your hints.
