thank you and yes everything is up to date including the translation packages.
you are right that some plugins do not support other languages and always display in English, however the plugins imagify and wpforms should be fully in German but they are in English in my case. I know that they should be in German because I have another website – wordpress downloaded from de.ww.wp.xz.cn – and i can see these plugins in German.
any advise would be appreciated
