Well, I retired this plugin and don’t get that problem you say…
Nevertheless, I would like the same as you, redirects the user to their profiles when they first login, but still allow them to go to the main page…
Did you solve it?

The problem is this: there is a wrong </ a>, (with a wrong space between the / and the a) in the html code of the login box…
OK, but: where to edit this code??????
