In reply to: [CPT-onomies: Using Custom Post Types as Taxonomies] Updates are coming@akhanukov – this solution worked perfectly for me and I think has much more longevity to it. It only took a few minutes of reprogramming my theme and then a boat load of reassigning each post to a related post, but I feel more comfortable with this permanent solution versus temporary fixes that may break with a new WP update. Thanks!

I wish the author wasn’t so silent on this. I just reverted back to the previous version of WP thinking the author would have a fix quickly, but obviously, that’s not the case.

WP changed some things about taxonomies in this latest version so I’m sure this is the problem. In the meantime, I rolled back my WP version to 4.6 and it’s working. Hoping there’s a fix for this plugin so I can use it and update my WP.

In reply to: [Contact Form DB] Contact form database for large number of entriesdhobelka, I just asked a question of you on another forum post, but it looks like you did use Contact Form 7 and Contact Form DB for the large number of submissions. Are you happy with that choice? Did you run into any issues other than the issue you outlined here? Did you use CloudFlare with your website to help process the requests? I’m about to embark on a similar journey and want to make sure I know what I’m getting into so the site doesn’t crash and we don’t lose data!
dhobelka, what happened? Did you end up using Contact Form 7 for the submissions and did it hold up with a lot of simultaneous submissions? About to embark on the same journey and want to use Contact Form 7 on a dedicated host. I know the host won’t be an issue, but want to make sure Contact Form 7 won’t be an issue either.

Yes, that did fix the issue, but won’t it break again when an update comes out? Or is this an error that will be fixed in upcoming releases?
