It appears that once you setup the keys for v3 you need to remove the [recaptacha] tag.
Slight correction, it appears to work, but the verification the form was submitted never displays.
I tried this fix, and although the form looks better again; the form will not submit.

Yes, it’s 5.3.29. I’ve been hesitant of upgrading for fear of breaking other sites with custom programming. I guess it’s time.
