This is a NON WP php site that uses cPanel. There is no dashboard. There is no sidebar. There is no “activate” key. There is no “configuration” option. Yet, the specific instruction I have quoted is WordPress’s instruction for installing the Askimet plugin to a “NON WORDPRESS site.”
So how does one activate a plugin on a non-wordpress site?

It’s the “activate” and “enter” steps that are confusing me. If I had a place to enter the api key I could do that; I’m just not seeing how to get to that stage.
