@mermare and @esmi – in this particular case the issues that @mermare added are the exact same that I am also experiencing, but I did not list them in the initial posting – it seems that both questions are related to the same upgrade issue and it might be best to address them together.

I just realized that in the installation directions you list
3. Place <?php do_action(‘plugin_name_hook’); ?> in your templates

Could you please provide an example where exactly this line is supposed to go and what is the ‘plugin_name_hook’?

Thank you for your reply. I was hoping that it would be possible to order them manually by selecting a custom order in which they are displayed. Or, if they could be ordered by the tag IDs, this would already provide a little more flexibility. Another option would be to have them listed in the order of the number of the events in that category.
