That does work. But it is adding an extra step that I may or may not remember. I had to use the “WordPress Pinterest Automatic” plugin while you weren’t really supporting this one and it had the same issue but when I mentioned it, they were able to fix it quickly. It would be great if you could get this working like it used to but in the meantime, I’ll try to remember to save before I post.
BTW. Thanks for coming back to this plugin.

Please paste/enter that value into the “Session ID” field
But for those, like me, who didn’t know where to put the value, the Session ID is in this plugin’s Pinterest settings on your site.
I do appreciate that you fixed this issue but I have to wonder why it took 3 months to reply.
