In reply to: Domain Mapping or Multi NetworkHmm that’s a good question, I hadn’t thought about it. Right now it’s set up like a traditional site @ vikinglodge3683.putzle.com.
I have the domain mapping plugin installed but cannot get it to work.
I lose the main site, only. I also have the multi network plugin installed but I cannot get to it nor delete it.I think I made a mess. Is there anything I can do to repair it?

In reply to: Change from Domain Mapping to Multi NetworkWell I activated the WP Multi Network plugin, created a new network and now I’ve lost the site after assigning it to the new network.
gulfcoastvikings.com (new network) now goes to putzle.com
I do have an apache redirect: gulfcoastvikings.com to vikinglodge3683.putzle.com.
I’m not sure if this is causing it.
If I try to delete the new network its says ‘there are blogs assigned to this network, and it will be deleted too’????I also have domain mapping enabled, should I get rid of it?

In reply to: Change from Domain Mapping to Multi NetworkSorry I couldn’t find ANY instructions, and after uploading the plugin, I didn’t want to activate it yet. I went to the developer (revisor) site but again found nothing. I even read a very brief ‘text’ description in the plugin editor.
So, where do I find more information?

In reply to: Change from Domain Mapping to Multi NetworkThank you Andrea, so should I install another copy of WP 3.1 in the same directory, and give it another registered domain name, and setup the mult-inetwork plugin, then reconstruct the site (with it’s own domain name)?
Maybe a bakcup would be a good start!
By port the content over, do you mean direct it through hardware and IP’s?
