I use the PlugIns “Disable WP REST API” and “Disable WP REST API – Allow CF7”.
The PlugIn to Allow CF7 has a bug, everything is working fine except to show the success of sending the mail.
I have informed the author (Jeff Starr) of that plugin, he knows the bug, but have no solution at the moment.

Thank you for the quick answer and the link.
Then I know now at least that I have not overlooked anything and this is not so easy to do. Will then read a little deeper into the programming.
