The permalinks are working but the download link on the attachment details page still isn’t. How can I edit this? I need to add index.php so that it links properly.

In reply to: Changing the url to the media download pageIt works for me. I’m checking from a tablet and other devices and it works (it’s not just a cached page). There’s a short paragraph with an embedded audio file.
The problem with this starts at the host. Yahoo small business doesn’t give its users access to .htaccess

In reply to: Changing the url to the media download pageI may have misspoke – the attachment page link is what I want to change. It’s shown near “Edit more details” and “Delete Permanently.”

When I upload media you are shown settings and link to the page to download the file later, and the direct download link. The link that points directly to the file is correct, I just want to edit the url that WordPress generates by default since it’s not (evidently) impacted by any change to the permalink structure.

In reply to: Email Blog Post via GMaili have tried setting this up for gmail, could you possibly post an exmple of settings that you use? i’ve used both the incoming and outgoing information they give you but neither of them work, i still get POP3 connect errors when i go to wp-mail.php
