Hello,
I upgraded from version 3.0.6 to 3.0.7.
Yes, I have already tried deactivating and re-activating the plugin. I also completely deleted it and reinstalled it.
At the moment, I noticed something very specific:
- The OpenAI API key remains saved as long as I do not modify any other settings.
- As soon as I change another setting (bot name, prompt, welcome message, etc.) and click save, all settings revert to default and the API key disappears.
I have also:
- Cleared browser cache
- Cleared server cache (Plesk)
- Tested in private/incognito mode
- Checked wp_options table (no mxchat entries found)
- Verified that I still have OpenAI credit
Since the issue only happens when saving multiple settings at once, it seems related to the settings save process rather than the API key itself.

Even after clearing all browser and server caches, the issue persists.
The settings (API key, bot name, prompt, etc.) are still not being saved and revert to default after refreshing the page.Thank you.
