I’m writing to report a critical bug introduced in Shortcodes Ultimate version 7.5.1, released on May 19, 2026.
**Issue**
The release ZIP for v7.5.1 is missing the entire /freemius/ directory, while shortcodes-ultimate.php still requires freemius/start.php at line 31. This causes a PHP fatal error on every page request, making any WordPress site running this version completely unreachable.**Error message**
PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Failed opening required ‘…/wp-content/plugins/shortcodes-ultimate/freemius/start.php’ in shortcodes-ultimate.php:31**Impact**
– Site fully down immediately after update to v7.5.1
– Affects all users who updated or freshly installed v7.5.1
– The v7.5.0 ZIP contains 549 files including /freemius/ (223 files); the v7.5.1 ZIP contains only 326 files with /freemius/ entirely missing**Workaround applied**
I rolled back to v7.5.0 by downloading the archive directly from:
https://downloads.wp.xz.cn/plugin/shortcodes-ultimate.7.5.0.zip**Request**
Please publish a corrected v7.5.2 as soon as possible including the complete /freemius/ SDK, and consider adding a release integrity check to prevent this type of regression.Thank you for your attention to this matter.

The problem can come from a critical bug that WooCommerce has not fixed for ten days already. It is not a problem of keys but of connection between your store and Stripe due to this bug. I am using Full Stripe premium plugin, another plugin for STripe but without caddy, with the same keys and it works fine … Please read the problem mentioned on this link below.

I had the same problem of translation in French with loco translate. Some items can’t be translated in the .pot file. You need to translate them in the .php files code, with no other possibility because the .pot file is not complete. For example:
– the 2 buttons in the e-mail templates to reset password and view the customer account;
– ORDER title….
From memory, I had to modify two or three .php files so that everything was translated correctly.Thank you for the quality of your very professional work. We are here in the details…

The conditions of use have changed since I installed your plugin by only allowing the use of the Sending Blue® services with your plugin when their plugin is installed. The proof that two plugin does not conflict because I use Easy WP SMTP, as an other SMTP plugin, without problem with the Sending Blue® plugin, and transactional sending of emails option disabled. I reproach is not to be able to do without Sending Blue transactional sending of emails with your plugin, even when the option is disabled on Sending Blue® plugin. And especially to use its own SMTP what I do without problem today with Easy WP SMTP, as an other SMTP plugin. I just blame you for not informing users well and stating that you are a partner of the Sending Blue® third party services. That Sending Blue offers paid services is understandable and has nothing to do. It’s just that this service becomes essential if you also use the Sending Blue plugin as you say. I just want to pay the services of Sending Blue for emailling to my customers but not to send me alerts or feed-back messages by emails…
Sorry but I lost too much time with this story and comments about possible security vulnerabilities mentioned by some do not inspire me confidence. It’s up to you to communicate to change this image by being transparent, reassuring users and proposing a solution that works, without going through Sending Blue® services if people want to use their own SMTP server. En fait, mon appréciation et problèmes rencontrés était relatif à l’ancien plugin EnvoiMoinsCher
Sinon, j’ai découvert depuis que vous Boxtal a développé un nouveau plugin (Boxtal connect) qui fonctionne aujourd’hui principalement depuis l’interface en ligne de Boxtal.
Ce que je ne savais pas. Dommage car je l’aurais installé avant d’avoir des dysfonctionnements avec l’ancienne version du plugin (EnvoiMoinsCher) qui bugue donc beaucoup.
Il serait bien que Boxtal fasse une meilleure information sur ses développement et mises à jour.
Cela fonctionne normalement avec le nouveau plugin Bosta (Boxtal connect) que j’ai installé depuis.Au passage, je ne comprends pas bien pourquoi vos tarifs pour un même mode d’expédition et colis varient, quand on recharge la page de votre site, quelques secondes après !
Je ne vois pas trop ce qui justifie cela. Il y a parfois des grosses différences pour des même critères de colis et ceci, quelques secondes après avoir visualisé la page !

1) Quand on supprime une commande dans l’interface du site Boxtal et quand on resynchronise les commandes, elle réapparait dans les nouvelles commandes.
Ce qui est particulièrement embêtant. On ne peut pas la supprimer définitivement. J’utilise le mode d’envoi par lettre suivi pour des petits envois que vous ne proposez pas.
A chaque fois que je resynchronise les commandes, je dois tout supprimer à chaque fois…..ou alors de proposer un filtrage des commandes à ne plus expédié car supprimées sur le site de Boxtal.2) Vous devez saisir manuellement les dimensions de tous vos colis, même quand ce n’est pas demandé par le transporteur (comme Colissimo ou Mondial Relay) : grande perte de temps et aggaçant !
Donc à supprimer quand ce n’est pas nécessaire.3) Il serait intéressant d’avoir malgré tout le lien de la page Boxtal qui s’affiche au niveau de la commande dans le BackOffice et de connaître le statut de l ‘expédition:
– A traiter
– Expédié
– A suivre avec Lien de suivi4) Seul le mode forfait est utilisable avec votre nouveau plugin Boxtal ce qui est très restrictif….et dommage.
5) Ajouter en plus un beau bouton Boxtal sur le back-office WP permettant de basculer directement sur l’interface Boxtal et de s’y connecter. Cela serait plus pratique.Forum: Plugins
