@rubengc I totally read the following line as:

“When [Complete a Quiz on a range of percent grade] [90%] – [100%] [1] time(s) limited to [5] [per minute]
Earn: [10] point type with a maximum…”

As:

If you complete the quiz with 95-100% 1 time, you can get 10XP 5 times per minute. The sixth time within a minute won’t result in points, but after the minute has passed, points will be awarded, 5 times at most, again.

Am I wrong?

@pacogon at the moment, the options are 1 minute, 1 hour, etc.

I would like to be able to set a certain time or at least have more increments, like 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes.

The reason this functionality is so important is because students using my website can simply open up many tabs with the same thing, and then hit complete on all of them, with a time span of 1 minute, and take in a lot of points of a point type. I had students raking in 1000×5(point type) because they “enrolled in a new course”. needless to say, I do not have a 1000 courses. This was before I set the timer to once per hour, but this is not fair, as students do something start a new course twice within one hour.

Setting it to 1 minute makes exploiting this bug less appealing but still. 1 hour is far too long, because with fair work, they would not get XP when they deserve it.

If you have other recommendations about how to treat this problem, I am all ears.

+1, would also like the feature a lot.
Especially because some of the suggested options make for an extremely slow website: the more point type rules you have, the slower your website gets.
