In reply to: [Simple Membership] Admin Converting to SubscriberI created an admin user type and set my admin account to that but then when I go to the page with the form it says,
“Error! No custom form found for this membership level. Level ID: 6”Is there a way for the admins to also be able to see and use the same form as the subscribers?
and yes, I am using the form builder addon.
I see that I would set the form to Generic but where do I set that? I have customized the form so I do not want to delete it and start over. Is it possible to just select it somewhere as generic? or maybe a field in the db i can change?

In reply to: [Simple Membership] User IDI was able to get this working for my site by changing the Company Name field to NickName. I updated it in the database and the code and now I am able to display it and call for the profile field to be edited in the edit profile page. I highly suggest you use this in your next update. if you would like help with adding it correctly to the code I can help with that as well so users don’t have to change the company name field as i did.

In reply to: [Simple Membership] User IDI am able to get the ID of the users and I am able to get the ID of the members, but I am unable to use the custom field or the wp nickname field on the members page. I know this is possible and I would like to speak to the developers about properly implementing this. Displaying the username for the world to see or any other personal information is NOT secure and I would like to work with you guys to maybe help make it a bit more secure.

In reply to: [Simple Membership] User IDor instead, is it possible to pull a custom field into the members directory page? I created one for nickname since you guys do not allow to pull from the nickname in the users meta table. I would like to display the custom form field for Nickname that I created as the display name for our users. I am okay with modifying the core plugin code even though I understand I will not be able to update it without it removing my changes. Is there someone in support I can speak with about this?

In reply to: [Simple Membership] Show NicknameI just think it’s pretty unsafe to show customer usernames since that’s half the login but using the first and last name can also be a privacy issue. Allowing for nickname would give the customers privacy by being able to choose their display name without having to change their first and last name. Changing the first and last name will affect the account’s ability to properly place orders using the website’s online store.

However, In order for me to display their username instead of their full name, it creates an issue for our customers because some of them are using their email as their username and do now want that public. WordPress does not allow you to change your username so I’m not going to ask that all my customers create a new account. That would be silly and most will just delete their accounts. I would like to use the wordpress field of NICKNAME as the display instead for the directory pages.

However, in the muffin builder from the BeTheme it’s showing outside of the protection even when moving the plugin loading order. Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this?
