In reply to: Captions still out of alignment in WP 3.2.1This is what I did. I uploaded the images and applied the centered option to captions. However, when I apply the type style from within the window (bold, header 5, medium blue), that’s when the images and captions get messed up.
What if I just change the caption style on the CSS? Maybe working from within the window messes things up.
I did 2 more experiments. I uploaded the images and didn’t change the captions at all except I centered them:

Now I tried it by applying a bold and a blue and centered it but did not change to header 5 just kept it at the default format. It works. So for some reason, it does not work when I change the header from within the window.
Check it out:
http://eagleheartdynamic.com/?page_id=1727As long as I keep it to “format” which is the default and not change it to any other header, then it is fine. So I can live with it.
Thanks for your help.

In reply to: Captions still out of alignment in WP 3.2.1William what theme are you using? Is it a Studiopress theme or another one?

In reply to: Captions still out of alignment in WP 3.2.1Nor did it work on the Twenty Eleven theme. After I centered the caption, now it is way over on the right hand side beyond the thumbnail. Errrr!

In reply to: Captions still out of alignment in WP 3.2.1Clayton…yes I tried it but the captions ended up overlapping past the thumbnail to the left instead of being centered.
It automatically is centered in the window after I upload the image with the caption from the media files. Then I publish the page and that’s when it gets messed up on the Enterprise theme.
I have a question…why would captions be centered in the window and then go way over to the left hand side past the thumbnail after it is published. I am referring to the Twenty Eleven theme. I am just assuming it would be centered because it looks centered before publishing. Maybe I should just center the captions and see what happens in both themes.
I did not have this issue before the upgrade so it’s got to be something not in sync obviously or more specific rules (i.e. I will center the captions and see what happens)…whatever. BRB

In reply to: Captions still out of alignment in WP 3.2.1I am not blaming anyone. I am trying to get to the root of the problem.

In reply to: Captions still out of alignment in WP 3.2.1It is not a theme issue as I suspected. And before you mouth off with rude comments (>If you don’t want advice go to Starbucks) why don’t you wait for a response?! It is not appreciated.
I sent an email to the owner of Studiopress yesterday and added additional comments with 2 examples in the thread (started on this topic a week ago) on the Studiopress Enterprise theme forum.
For the benefit of anyone who is experiencing the same thing, this was a senior mod’s response :
“It does appear to be a WP issue, I’m looking into it and will submit a match to wp core. I’ll post my recommended changes here too if you feel up to moding core files.”

In reply to: Captions still out of alignment in WP 3.2.1Why would it be Studiopress when it was working fine prior to the upgrade?

In reply to: Image Caption Position following 3.2 upgradeJoe thanks. I will try it. My gut feeling was that it had to do with these 2 tags so I was on the right track. Do you know when they are going to fix the problem so I don’t have to do this manually? It is such a time waster!

In reply to: Image Caption Position following 3.2 upgradeI am having the same problem. The captions are off to the side and the preview mode is the worst because it doesn’t view them properly. I even downloaded the recent version 3.2.1 and it still doesn’t work. Does anyone know when this is going to be fixed?
