I checked this and found there was a bug that could sometimes reduce resolutions on larger images. This has been fixed in the latest version of the plugin that was just released, so please update and it should solve that issue.
As for the file size increase, that’s expected when a frame is added since the overall canvas becomes larger. If you’d like to avoid the increase, you can try this (please note: it will crop from the bottom of the image):
- Upload the image to ScreenGlow
- Under Canvas Size, click Custom Size
- Lock the size using the lock icon (so the size gets prefilled and it stays fixed)
- Add your frame
- Set the alignment to Top Center

As for handling data, we offer developer hooks that let you run custom actions whenever a link is clicked. You’ll find more details in our documentation. Additionally, the premium version includes built-in webhooks, so you can send data to platforms like Zapier directly from the settings interface so you don’t need any coding.
