In reply to: [Forget About Shortcode Buttons] Problems with new updateHi all
I’ve updated the plugin with the fixes previously mentioned.
WP 4.8 brought plenty of changes (and bugs) which I’ve fixed today too.
I also added support for our buttons in the widget areas in WP 4.8 (new feature, rich text in widgets).
Anyway, I’m closing this ticket, if you have any issues, please open a separate new ticket for yourself and describe your issue.

In reply to: [Forget About Shortcode Buttons] Problems with new updateAnyone tested this? I’ll be doing a release later on today with these updates if I don’t hear back – it seems to have fixed quite a few errors relating to a blank post editor.

In reply to: [Forget About Shortcode Buttons] Problems with new updateHi all
I have a dev version to test, there are a couple of fixes that seem to have solved the issues for the majority of users’ I’ve tested with, but I believe there may still be compatibility issues remaining.
Please test and let me know if this has resolved issues for you.

In reply to: [Forget About Shortcode Buttons] Problems with new updateHey Sneader
I can’t delete yours (or anyones) post on here, so it might have been a mod?
Either way, I saw it come in my inbox, about the
colon :text, and I’ve found the bug and fixed it 🙂I’ve also not “left” any comments either, I can’t debug without more info, such as specific setups / plugins /themes etc which is what I’ve asked for. A blank visual editor just means any JavaScript error occured, and from what I’ve gathered, there are bunch of different errors occuring, which will likely need different solutions (and are likely actually different issues) – (** just read up in the thread – I guess this might be why the forum mod deleted the post and asked you to open a new ticket)
Anyway, I’m trying to fix another couple of users’ issues atm and then I’ll have a beta to test, likely tomorrow – hopefully the fixes I’ve applied today and tomorrow will affect the issues arising on this thread too, and of course the colon issue should be fixed 🙂
Will update here with a link so you can check it out and let me know your issue has been resolved before I do a full release.

In reply to: [Forget About Shortcode Buttons] Problems with new updateSedelstein, FASC is working fine with the latest (clean) WP…
However, it seems to not be working in combination with some other plugins.
Currently, this seems to be plugins such as Visual Composer or visual editor related plugins – the ones that change the way the post edit screen work.
If you can list your current plugins, I can install them and try to recreate your issue, so that I can fix it.

In reply to: [Forget About Shortcode Buttons] Problems with new updateHi Jan
Thanks for this, I understand.
Whats the correct way of debugging with users in the admin area then?
The alternative I guess might be to get users’ registered on my own support forums (http://designsandcode.com/forums/forum/search-filter-pro/support/) in order to offer support in admin areas?

In reply to: [Forget About Shortcode Buttons] BUGGY VERSIONHmmm
I had a user report something similar.
Did you try clearing your cache (both browser, and WP) before testing it again?
This did the trick for the user I mentioned, although the issue was entirely different.
I’m not sure what is causing your error now in this scenario, the latest version is working well for me in all my tests, even with the nofollow.
Anyway, if the above doesn’t work, then we are startiong to look at environment specific issues.
I would think I’ll need to setup a site with your theme & plugins.
Would you be ok to upload them if I create a dev site for us to work on?

In reply to: [Forget About Shortcode Buttons] BUG: Version 2.0Are you using the site origin editor too?
Can you drop me a line via the contact form (I’ll reply), and then send me theme & plugins (assuming they have a plugin for the builder) to test?
I’ve resolved all other issues that have come up so far (2.0.1 release landing any moment) and am keen to get this resolved quickly too.
Thanks

In reply to: [Forget About Shortcode Buttons] BUGGY VERSIONHi again pucelo2000
I found your issue with mixing links! Jeez this was a big one, I think I created it in the last few tweaks I made before release :/ Thanks for letting me know.
Anyway, if you update to version 2.0.1 (just released, might not show for a while) this will be fixed.
RE
nofollow:When you create a button with nofollow, FASC adds
rel="nofollow", but, when you save your post, or change html view, WordPress changes *some* of them, inconsistently, torel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"I do not plan to solve this for now as it looks like a WP issue, and technically, nofollow is working now, the only behavior not desired is WP modifying nofollow in anchor tags.
Please let me know how you get on 🙂

In reply to: [Forget About Shortcode Buttons] [V2] Why insert link don’t like old version?BTW, we removed the insert link thing, this was something auto added by WordPress (for all links).
If you actually changed the link via the little hover/popup from WP, it would often break FASC buttons.
So v2, removes this, which I consider is a fix, but I plan to re-add this functionality manually within the plugin, so it will all work nice together.
Thanks
