Hi all. It’s happening the same to me as explained on this thread:

It works but when I set $make_title_ellips to true, it switches again to h3 even if I have the replacement to h5 in the function. It looks like somehow both functionalities are not compatible. Any ideas on this?I didn’t know you could trim the title and it is definitely a great option since the titles of many products in Amazon are too long. It would be perfect to standardize the length.

It worked. I’m using the amazonproducts shortcode and since I have a child theme I just used the function you supplied me and it worked perfectly.

For adding text, you need to go to Appearance > Menus.
Click the Screen Options at the top right and tick the Description there.
Then when you come to the menu items and expand it, you can see a Description box there. Add your content there to show under the menu items.
