@kboyshow If you’ve already checked the URLs in question for any issue that might prevent them from being indexed and they still aren’t, we would recommend to try optimizing your site’s crawl budget in order to maximize the number of posts being indexed by Google.
This can be done in a number of ways including by reducing errors on the site, disallowing parts of the site that don’t require being indexed, and other factors and we have a guide on optimizing your site’s crawl budget located here: https://yoast.com/crawl-budget-optimization/
If you continue to experience issues with Google Search Console, you can also reach out to Google Search Console support at the following link: https://support.google.com/webmasters/?hl=en#topic=9002753
Also, you can create your own thread related to your issue and receive assistance on resolving it by creating a post on the Google Search Console support forum at: https://support.google.com/webmasters/thread/new?hl=en
@larissamartins Thanks for your reply and confirming that you were able to successfully remove the extraneous sitemap entry in Google Search Console.
Regarding your question, if you want to check the sitemap using another utility for any formatting problems or errors you can use an XML validator to do so. You can find one at the following link: https://www.xml-sitemaps.com/validate-xml-sitemap.html
@jredfearnsd Thanks for your reply. Regarding your question, in order to share an image in your reply you would need to first upload the image to an image sharing site like https://pasteboard.co/ or https://imgur.com/ , and then paste the URL of the shared image in your response here.

@gerdski Thanks for your reply. We’ve identified several concerns in your message and responded to each below:
You might actually be able to provide me with the SQL, because this is somewhere in your plugin code. Maybe a developer can help?
They may be able to, but as this is a support forum handled by the support staff and not the developers. If you need to contact the developers the best channel to do that is via GitHub.
Maybe I’ll try a downgrade of Yoast. Which version is compatible with WP 5.9.5.?
Unfortunately we can’t say whether there is a release fully compatible with 5.9.5 as we only develop for the last two major releases of WordPress (ie 6.1 and 6.0 currently). But based off when the last 5.9.x release was one of the current releases of WordPress, my best guess would be version 19.0. You can download that (and any other release) from advanced view of the WordPress plugin page for Yoast SEO.
@pipoulito We’re sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue on your site.
Can you please confirm you are using the most recent release of Yoast SEO version 19.10? You can learn more about updating here: https://yoast.com/help/how-can-i-update-my-free-plugin/
Also, can you confirm you are using WordPress 6.1? You can check by clicking on the W in the top left and selecting About. If you need to update, please check with your host provider. Please know that if you are using an older version of WordPress Core you may experience unexpected behavior with Yoast. If you update to the most current version of WordPress and Yoast SEO, does this resolve the issue?
If you have confirmed both WordPress, Yoast SEO, and all of your site’s other plugins and themes are up to date and the problem is still occurring, we would next recommend performing a conflict check. A plugin or theme conflict can sometimes cause functionality problems, errors, or unexpected behavior from the plugin. If you are unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we have a step by step guide on how to check for conflicts available here: How to check for plugin conflicts.
Test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin allows you to run a conflict check without affecting normal visitors to your site.
Can you please confirm you have performed a complete conflict check by disabling other plugins, and resetting the theme to a default such as TwentyTwentyOne and let us know the results?
If you do not feel comfortable to do this yourself or if this does not solve your issue, our Yoast SEO Premium plugin comes with one year of (technical) support.@sdeckerphoto We’re sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue on your site.
Is there a specific page where the issue is occurring that you can provide an example link for, or is this affecting all pages on the site?
I was going to try testing pages from your portfolio but it looks like that area links to a different domain, so just wanted to confirm where the issue was occurring first.
@megaelements The reason you see 0 discovered URLs when you submit sitemap_index.xml is that none of the URLs that the sitemap contains are located at the root level of the sitemap, meaning they are listed in the child sitemaps contained in sitemap_index.xml, but not sitemap_index.xml itself.
That doesn’t mean the URLs aren’t found by Google when it crawls the sitemap though. This is also why you see the discovered URL value change when you submit the child sitemaps individually. However, we don’t recommend doing that as it’s not necessary to. You only need to submit the main sitemap_index.xml file, and Google will automatically crawl the child sitemaps it contains.

Can you please check whether the setting for ‘Show SEO settings’ is turned on for the group type?
You can check this setting by navigating in WordPress to Yoast SEO>Search Appearance>Content Types and then setting the value for ‘Show SEO settings’ to ‘On’, and then clicking ‘Save changes’

If you update to the most current version of WordPress and Yoast SEO, does this resolve the deprecated warnings?
If you have already confirmed that both Yoast SEO and WordPress are up to date and the issue is still occurring, we would next recommend performing a conflict check to determine whether another plugin or theme is interfering with the Yoast plugin.
The fastest way to do this is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like TwentyTwentyOne.
Test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin allows you to run a conflict check without affecting normal visitors to your site.

@shobha22 Thanks for your message.
I understand that you want to insert the FAQ Block in Elementor.
Unfortunately, we don’t have a way to integrate the Yoast structured data blocks into the Elementor page builder just yet, but we appreciate you suggesting a new feature for one of our plugins.
However, you are actually not the first to have requested this feature. That means a feature request has been created internally and is under review by our product team.
What’s next?
Our product team will assess the feature request and assign a priority level to the report. Our developers work on the highest priority issues first. We cannot give you an estimate of when or if they’ll start working on the request.If you have any further information that may affect the prioritization, please feel invited to reply to this forum topic, and we’ll share the information with our product team.

Regarding your issue, we checked on the page in question here and examined the source code and do see that robots meta tag as being set correctly and to allow indexing of the page (see image here):
<meta name=’robots’ content=’index, follow, max-image-preview:large, max-snippet:-1, max-video-preview:-1′ />
In addition, we checked in a Google search here and do see that the page in question is showing in the search results, so does appear to be indexed (see image here).
