Got it sorted out! Turns out it was my fault for not being more alert and thinking in the right direction. I’ve never used any caching plugin at all since I’ve started using WordPress. For those who are having the same problem, this is what I did.

Went to my file manager at HostGator where I was hosting my WordPress site. Browsed to:
    WP-CONTENT>CACHE>SUPERCACHE>”t3chsmash.com”

and deleted the contents inside there.

Please note that I made sure and backup my files inside there just incase that did any harm to my website. Although I have no idea how this got there since I never used the supercache plugin. However, this worked for me and I hope it can help someone else out who reads this.

Also, if I change the entire WordPress theme, it still shows up as the old homepage wit the same old theme until I choose any other page on the navigation menu, which shows whichever theme I changed it to when I was testing. But once I’m signed into WordPress everything is perfect.

I’ve contacted both my previous and current hosting service and currently in contact with them trying to sort it out if the problem is with them. What I’ve realized is that when viewed from an anonymous website, the old homepage from May 16th shows up. The latest post shows as the last post before I changed hosting services.

However, if I go into one of those posts and search for my latest post using the search bar on my website, it’s there and I can view it along with the new website and all the changes.

Another thing I realized is that ONLY the homepage has this problem on anonymous browsers. Once I navigate to any other page, my new logo and everything shows up a the top, which has me wondering if it’s something with my WordPress settings. I changed my front page to a static page, but when I visit it on an anonymous browser it shows the same old page while the static page is showed on a logged in browser. I’ve since then changed it back to the normal home page to show posts.

I have no idea what else to try. Maybe it’s a problem with whatever is used to show new posts? I have no idea.
