Thanks for this – It’s good to know that it at least should work (and that I’m not daft for trying!)
However as for diagnosing the problem, I’ve no idea.
One thing I’ve noticed is that once I paste the code in, if I click ‘save draft’ then afterwards some of the code gets removed. All I’m left with is:
<div style=’text-align:center’>
</div>
So perhaps this is part of the problem? As soon as I try to save or preview the post, some of the code is disappearing? I’ve no idea why this might happen however 🙁

Thanks for the response, – Yeah I get a code and paste it into the text editor but when I preview the post, there is nothing there.
The embed codes look like this:

The blog is self-hosted (not sure if this is important or not)
