In reply to: [Quads Ads Manager for Google AdSense] Automated + manual ads not visibleOooooo yes it’s working! Thanks!! That did the trick. While creating the ad I filled in my Customer Ad ID where it should be the Data Slot ID of the ad… Now it all makes sense of course.

Though, there’s one thing that I can’t figure out. I’m not sure if it has to do with precisely this topic (or if I should open a new ticket), but the ads on the pages are not displayed on (a/my) mobile device. I do have the triggers that they should load on the devices: desktop, tablet, mobile and small screens activated. Does this have to do with the triggers or validation or something else that I’m missing? When I make the browser on my laptop smaller they do show, but on my phone they’re not visible. Or… could this have to do with that it takes time for Google to display ads? Maybe I should have more patience, but because of the whole trigger / valid thing I’m in doubt if I’m doing it right 🙂

In reply to: [Quads Ads Manager for Google AdSense] Automated + manual ads not visibleUpdate: Instead of creating automated AdSense ads, I created a ‘custom code’ ad and pasted a code snippet from an ad created in AdSense. This works 🙂 It’s the ad that is shown below the first image on all pages and posts, except on the home page. In the widget area are still two ads that are generated with the AdSense Ad creator, though remain invisible.

Thank you for your quick response, somehow I missed the notification.
With a troubleshooting plugin I deactivated all plugins and installed a different standard theme. Even when all the plugins are deactivated, excluding WP Quads and the theme, the ads are not visible. When hovering WP Quads at the top bar it says ‘Ads working fine’.

I’m sorry!! Even though I thought I tried everything I was a little too enthusiastic to ask for help, the problem is solved. To reduce page speed I reduced JS scripts, though, I also unloaded the ocean-main.js, which was causing the problem. Hopefully, this is of help to others :)!

I’m sorry, I have to make a correction: the CDN plugin actually didn’t give me that screen. That screen came from a different plugin where I could exclude certain caching. Though, that other plugin was not causing the problem.
So I was in the wrong place with the settings 🙂 The CDN plugin doesn’t give me options to exclude specifically lyteCache.php, BUT: it did give me the option to exclude Media files completely. And that did the trick! YouTubeLyte works now!

I’m trying to exclude the lyteCache.php from the CDN. This I can do via a screen within the plugin. It gives me the options to exclude a page (URL) or a user-agent. There are some already filled in by the plugin, such as a user-agent containing ‘WhatsApp’. Though, when I add ‘lyteCache.php’ or ‘lyteCache’ to the user-agent exclusion, or the URL to the pages, so a URL containing: ‘wp-content/plugins/wp-youtube-lyte/lyteCache.php’, the thumbnails are still not shown.

I reckon I’m messing up the names here 🙂 Am I in the right spot to make this change? And / or what should I fill in?
About not caching thumbnails locally, did you mean this is possible via YouTubeLyte? I can’t find this.

The changing menu + other texts is solved. By disabling the asset cashing in the settings of the Popup Maker plugin (great and simple plugin by the way) the problem disappeared as melting snow (not sure if I can say it literally like that in English :).
The different fonts in different browsers aren’t yet. I’m going to make a child theme for .CSS, instead of using the ‘additional CSS’ panel. Will update when I know more.

The plug-in works! Except for the fact that the size of the icon doesn’t change when choosing between ‘medium, thumbnail, large, menu-item’ etc.
