I just spent a bunch of time reinstating the earlier version which does work. I have moved on for the time being. Will try your suggestion when I have more time.
I did the email test to myself as you suggested and it arrived. And looked at rules.php after trying a manual update again. — It did not get updated.— It’s in the above thread.
Apparently I missed sending you the diagnostics. But did so just now.
Let me know if there’s anything else I can do other than wait for an update.

Sorry…was out. I just sent again. Also tried sending a test email to myself and it worked. Then tried to wft@ from the button as well as from the bottom ‘send’. Also looked at rules.php. The date is old Mar8. Tried manual update and refreshed my ftp view and it’s still Mar8.

Hello. I have a similar problem and as a bit of trouble-shooting I looked at your demo page and you have a similar problem as well! I have been using this sweet plugin for awhile and in the last 2 updates the download has broken in Safari and Firefox. I have it on a couple of different wp installations on a couple different servers…all have issues.

Mine works like your first one “param – > all features”. When I click on the download button, the download is fine in Chrome. In both Firefox and Safari it takes me to another page and you see the built-in audio player.
I’ve tried clicking and unclicking lots of options in the settings to no avail. In fact if one option is clicked (use default browser), then I get an error message saying the file doesn’t exist. (but it does because it plays although doesn’t download).

@jwiere03 (and all) It seems like the conflict is with BackupBuddy. I posted on their support forum and will post here if there’s a resolve.
I think I’m going to look into other Security Software in the meanwhile.

I’ve been using this quite awhile and just now got the white screen.
I disabled other plugins, loaded Better-WP-Security first, then one-by-one added other plugins EXCEPT BackupBuddy. Up until BackupBuddy, all was ok.
Once I added BackupBuddy I got the white screen again.
ODD since BackupBuddy is an iThemes product.
