If there’s anyone who can help with regards to timestamp and the author, any advice would be very welcome! If it helps, I’m using the Tesseract theme by Tyler Moore and I can’t see anything in his instructions about a blog page.

In reply to: Blog comments and author/data timestamp not visible on custom themeWoohoo! Managed to enable comments by going to “all posts –> quick edit” and then checking “allow comments”. Looks untidy at the moment but I can polish that up at a later date.
Now to enable timestamp and author … cannot work that out at all!

I’ve tried enabling the “Allow people to post comments on new articles” and there’s still nothing. Have toyed around in there but I can’t seem to get anything to work. I also can’t see anything on the theme setting with regards to a timestamp, I was hoping that there might be a widget – all the articles I find on similar things contain code which is quite over my head.
Should have gone with a default template 🙁
