Ok, that’s weird.
Not least since input into a standard wordpress post title does not have the same issue.
I also deactivated all plugins except Woocommerce and switched to a default wordpress theme without it removing the issue.
Have you tested with the most recent WooCommerce 2.5?
We’re currently using 2.4.13
We originally saw this issue in a textarea for a flower card text – and yeah customers do get creative with the input in such a field more than the name field 🙂

It looks like any field on the checkout page.
I have tested in customer name, address and custom fields.
