This is blowing my mind, but it looks like the only thing I can’t do is send only to a group. If I add an individual user and a group to the email, it arrives. But if I send it to only a group, it doesn’t.

I never got that email.

It seems like Sendgrid may be a culprit here. I’ve tested all combinations of sending from two different email address on different domains; sending to a group, a single user and two users, and turning Sendgrid off or on.

Results:

1. All the emails going through Sendgrid don’t arrive.
2. The email that came from one domain to two users arrived in the inbox.
3. The email that came from that same domain to a group didn’t arrive.
4. The email that came from the other domain to either a group or individual users went to spam.

Does that tell you anything?

1. Yes, I can send to any address individually.
2. Not that I’m aware of, but I can find out.
3. Yes, it’s not in spam.
4. I don’t think we have anything else that affects the wp_mail() function. Maybe Sendgrid, but shouldn’t that work fine with Email Users?

I have this same issue.

I can successfully send to individual users. However, when I try to send to a group I get a message that it was sent, but those emails are never delivered.

We only use this plugin once every three months, so it’s hard to say when it stopped working. We also use the User Role Editor plugin, and it has worked well with Email Users for two years without problems.

Is this a widespread bug or are there just a few of us?
