Well, it’s working for me now. In the Settings>General page I tried an alternate email address, one that doesn’t have the same URL as the website (I used Gmail), and that is now working. It’s a workaround, but at least it’s working.

Just wanted to give a public thanks to Martin Laine. After trying out a bunch of options, I implemented his player on my long-running music site, Disquiet.com.
All the applicable posts on the front page now have the player embedded, and I put up a little announcement here:
