Just a brief update:
I have tried changing/resetting backgrounds, to no avail.
I am currently not using any cache plugin.
I will try reinstalling the theme soon.

Sorry for the delay, I have been unavailable.
Unfortunately, I am not extremely familiar with Git (I have used it some, but not much).
Just as a quick update, I have just tried the plugin once again, and the update seems to have fixed it, thank you!
