it’s working now with the new plugin after uninstalling and installing again. For some reason wpcron was getting timeout errors every time the plugin tried to get the rates, and then it didn’t tried until next period. Having it set to 2 hours it updates more frequently. Like if it does get a timeout error, it tries again in the next period and if it goes well, it updates, but it is now not waiting 12 hours for the next try.
I just dont remember how it was this line before, in woocs.php
update_option(‘woocs_currencies_aggregator’, ‘ecb’);
solved forcing the plugin to use ecb instead of yahoo
