I had my web developer look into this issue and he found a fix for this my question 1. Can not add a new season after creating a new league.
I got his permission to post the fix as I know others have posted issues with it as well.
We haven’t had time to look at the other issues so we are reverting back to an older more stable version of the plugin for now. It is rather unfortunate as the new version looks a lot nicer and I would like to use it someday.
The fix for the season’s not working correctly is below.
“The problem was the “seasons” was supposed to be an array but the plugin author made new ones be a “string”. I just force it to be an array.”
In this file:
leaguemanager/admin/admin.phpI added this code:
if (is_string($league->seasons) && trim($league->seasons) === ”) {
$league->seasons = array();
}Above:
$league->seasons[$season] = array( ‘name’ => $season, ‘num_match_days’ => $num_match_days );
in function:
function saveSeason( $season, $num_match_days, $add_teams = false, $key = false )
If you know what this means you can fix it yourself as well.
It would be nice to hear form the developers on the rest of the issues.

Support has been great and you have answered each email in a timely matter.
I would suggest you maybe answer my questions here so others that are searching for specific things may find this thread and get their answers, saving you time in the future from answering the same question more than once.

Thank you for the fast reply. It is nice to actually have support for a product for once. I have had less support for similar paid plugins.
I have been playing around with it and feel this plugin could be really good as it seems to be very customizable.
Please take the comments below as constructive. I want to give feedback as I run 8 different leagues of various sports and spend a lot of time making schedules, updating scores etc. I would like to help make this plugin something anyone can install and use with ease with little or no help from you (support). the easier it is to use the more people will download and use the app.
To start I do feel that it needs work on the usability side of things. For example just entering scores is going to be a task in it self. Currently I will have to spend a lot of time doing the following just to update the scores after a day of games.
1. Click on a specific match
2. Enter the score
3. Hit update
4. Hit events
5. Sort by league (as I have more than one league)
6. Click the next match (repeat for each match).There are a lot of steps, and even with a fast connection wordpress is still internet based and it takes time switching from screen to screen.
This could take 20-30min for even a medium sized league and if you run a many leagues like this, 30 +min entering scores every day is too long.
I feel there needs to be a way to edit the scores directly from the events screen where you can see all the games for the day and simply enter all the scores at once, hit save/ update and you are done.
Now that I have been playing with it I have a few questions regarding the table.
1. How do I make abreviations for specific things like Win (I want ti to be a “W” instead of the full word.
2. I have beep playing around, entering scores, things seem to be working except for the position doesn’t seem to change, even with 1 team having a win they all are in 1st. How do I set parameters to determine what position the teams are in based on the rest of the table. Ie. Most points, Plus minus, head to head etc. to determine rank.
3. I don’t see how I can get the game time in the events calendar List view. There is a box that says time/ results, but it only shows the score, not the game time (which is a must for a schedule).

In reply to: [LeagueManager] Full schedule no longer working?I tried to play around with it and no matter what short code I use including the example you gave me I can now only get the single match day and not the entire schedule to display.
I also found that when I change the game location it removes the match day from it and there is no way to put it back in, I have to re add the entire match and delete the old one.
This plugin was great but this recent update has completely destroyed the functionality and causing me more time than it was saving over doing it manually with spreadsheets and pasting them on the site.
As I said I would gladly pay for someone to work out the bugs and help me fix these problems.

Thank you for the reply.
I went to the link you gave me and the match day does not seem to be working. It shows what seems to be the entire schedule even with you select a specific match day.
On my site I have match day (which automatically changes to the next upcoming match), and below it I have the the full schedule. The match day works, but since the update the full schedule does not show the full schedule, it shows what ever the match day is showing.
They both used to function properly, it was one of the reasons I went with leaguemanager in the first place.

Unfortunately sportpress seems to be only for one specific club and not for sites that offer more than one sport.
If anyone wants to help me with support please contact me I am willing to compensate for your time.
The bask end of this plugin is the best I have used thus far. When it used to function I really liked the output options on the front end especially with the ability to show the full schedule as well as specific match day. But the update killed most of that and support is terrible.

Ok found out yo have to deactivate the plugin and then reactivate it. This is kind of a fix but shouldn’t have to be done at all.
I will open another thread with the other issues.
I also see that the full schedule no longer functions, only showing current matches, not the entire schedule.
I have the proper code [matches league_id=25 mode=all]
I also noticed the league manager icon is missing from the page editor? What happened with this update, this plugin is now useless!
I would like to revert back to an older version of this plugin as the latest update seems not to work. If I do this will I loose all the info in my current leagues such as schedule, standings etc?
I can’t even go into the back and and export current standings as it is not available anywhere in wordpress backend!!!
This is devastating to my leagues!

I have in the past been afraid to install updates as they sometimes seem to have negative effects on some of the other features.
I am running a 18 team league and a few other smaller leagues, the data or functionality mid season would be catastrophic.
