Actually, just figured out what I was doing wrong. I was double clicking the install.php file when FTP is open in IE. You need to type in the http://www.yourwebsite/blog/wp-admin/install.php, and it runs properly.

Same thing is happening to me. I can do a local install with xampp, but I cannot get this running on my host. I’ve confirmed that my host and my account support the following:
-Mysql and PHP has been installed on our server by default.
PHP version is 4.3.10 and mysql version is 3.23.58 .
Also mod_rewrite is enabled on the server by default.
Any help for Norman and I appreciated 🙂
